I just had a listing client ask me about the value to him of Broker Tour. My response:
While I didn’t have anyone who said they’d be writing an offer or bringing a client through (obvious value), in my opinion there is still value in the effort, for two reasons:
- Agents get new clients all the time. If those new clients ask them about available options, they invariably spend more time talking about the options they have seen.
- Agents talk a lot to one another, especially in days of lower inventory/lower activity. If one agent says to another agent, “My client is looking for X and just isn’t finding it,” I want have the agent she is talking to ready to say…”Oh, did you (subject property)? Would that work for them?” We should seed the market with as many advocates as possible.
