Keep your renter while selling?

Wondering whether you should keep your single-family home rented while trying to sell it? Every situation is different, but…I keep thinking about a conversation I had yesterday with a friend/client. The punch line (me to him): "I would sooner list your property on Christmas Eve than list it with a renter in it."
