Brian is long-time client and friend; we worked together years ago to get him into a condo then a few years later to get him out of it. This project was to get him and his wife Julie into their first home together. I love that this property was a “sleeper.” Mark, my partner on this project, found the “needle in a haystack,” despite that fact that in this market the haystack (available inventory) was small and there are a lot of people looking for needles. He found a bright and spacious Tudor home with 3BR/1BA up (and powder room on the main) whose marketing played into the typical fears about Tudors (amateur photos of dark, tight spaces). The Sellers were atypical; they essentially represented themselves and made some unconventional choices which made access to the home and to themselves limited. They were firm on price, but Brian and Julie had seen enough to recognize the value that the home represented to them. They moved confidently and decisively.
